When you switch on your PC or Laptop, I'm sure you know that you're using electricity. When electricity is made bad gases are let out into the air, which is not very good for us. If we use less electricity, then less of the harmful gases will enter the air!
When you go onto Club Penguin, you are using electricity, but if you switch off your TV from standby, or unplug your mobile phone's charger from the socket, then less of the unneeded gases will be let out!
So, next time you switch on a light, ask yourself:
Is it really needed, or could you go without swiching it on?
